I was fortunate to get a sneak preview of the new Cape Town Airport Terminal which opens on 7 November. The Central Processing Terminal, which has 120 check-in counters for both local and international passengers, is spectacular. The use of glass gives a feeling of light and affords great views of Table Mountain and the mountain range above Stellenbosch and Somerset West. The external public plaza has huge potential, and I’m very excited about the Bus Rapid Transit Station being built 40m from check-in.
